Process
Because of an NDA, I cannot discuss everything I did at Nedieon. I can say that I worked on designing UI and a web-enabled remote control for robots. I set up code to receive input on a Raspberry Pi which was controlling a robot (an old version of one of the robots is below, made out of a Rubbermaid Box). The controller is a smart phone app which also receives information back from the robot. The languages used were primarily C# and Python. Some of the UI for the app was made in HTML and JavaScript.
Reflection
Overall it was one of the more challenging projects I have worked on and I had to be self taught a lot while on the job.
