Process
Winner is a short film created for a course. I worked in a group of 4 where I primarily did audio recording and sound design work. I also helped do some of the editing.
During the filming my main job was being the boom microphone operator and making sure the recording was all going smooth. As this was a group assignment for classes, I also did do small parts of everything. I would assist doing things such as writing the script or giving feedback on shots.

At the end of the semester, the class has a film screening where all of the group show off their films and get to vote in an awards show. Our film won the award for Best Sound.

Reflection
This was a really fun project to film and make. It was my first real film made with a group. It involved getting an external actor and expecting some level of professionalism due to it. It felt like one of the first times I was making a film, not just completing a group project.
